Had a great time on Wednesday Night hosting the Piano Room Singer Songwriter Grand Final. Was really cool to hang and chat with contestants, listen to all their amazing voices and announcer the winners.  Very fun night hanging with my favourite ppl including Danny Colangelo & Matt Lord from REM Records, Antonino from Cream Magazine (I’ve pronounced it right now!) and Brendan & Jeremy from Xposure Productions.

A very lovely girl called Erin won - who I’m sure you’ll see loads more off.  Great competition, I had a ball being Grand Final Host….

Timbaland’s song “Bounce” came on my iPod in my Car (P.s. I love random shuffle!) and I release that when I heard the song I didnt think about the artist, but rather someone I saw doing a dance to it.  For me to think of someone’s dance routine rather than the artist spells brilliant in my book.

So in honour of that, here it is…

Been in the studio so been a bit quiet, doing some very cool stuff and things. Will put some vids up soon. How much do I love Mars Volta right now.

And in between attempts to get fit so I can do a marathon for charity, have been writing. Like lots. Listening to heaps of pop, opera and heavy rock - so will be interesting to see what comes out. ‘Tis strange how I always write at midnight..

Think I may pop down to Piano Room tomorrow night to check out who is playing tomorrow.

I adore this guy! (I know what ur thinkin, he is also black &  plays a red guitar) the song is beautiful, but it’s the 10 min version so be patient cos the end is pretty cool.

Ahhh, seriously. Im not sure if its a d*cky thing, but one bit of feedback I always get is I look like im having fun when onstage. And thats generally cos I AM!! And we are!! Last night was a blast, thank you to all the gorgeous people who came down, 2 hours of power. I’m blessed to have one of the best, freshest and funkiest bands ever. If u ain’t seen us by now, get in before its too late.
